September is my favourite time of year to revisit goals and organize. I’m not a teacher but wish I was. Also, I love school supplies. All of that being said, I still sometimes get caught up in the January ‘new year!‘ frenzy.
This is one of those years.
My 2019 goals are similar to every year prior: lose weight, exercise, write more, write better, and so on. But, there’s something different this year. I’m not sure whether it’s my age, the current state of the world, or just the glow of a new year but I feel a driving need to be more. To do more.
I want to help. I want to have challenging, meaningful conversations. I want to embrace vulnerability in my writing, as well as my interactions with the world. I want to find my voice and continue to learn.
I wish I knew what this all looked like. Knowing would be a welcome balm for my overthinking, anxious soul.
